VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION BANQUET
All Children’s Ministry Volunteers (classroom help, nursery help, subs, bulletin board creators, memory verse team, etc.) and their spouses are invited to an appreciation banquet on Saturday, May 17th from 5:00-7:00pm. There will be awards, excellent food, and a couple of surprises too! Sign up at the check-in booth downstairs by May 11th.

BACKYARD BIBLE CLUB TRAINING
Are you thinking of reaching your neighborhood this summer for Jesus? We have an exciting 5-day club planned out with action games, cool crafts and mind-blowing experiments that will lead kids to glorify God! Training on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00-11:00am or Thursday, May 15th from 4:00-6:00pm at Berean is a must for anyone who is even thinking about teaching, hosting or helping!

ADVENTURE CARD BINDERS ARE IN
Pick up a binder for your child to keep all their Adventure Cards organized. There are only 4 left. See Pastor Nate or Jenni Maples to purchase one for $8.

SUMMER HELP NEEDED IN THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
We are looking for volunteers to join the team that Heals Kids’ Hearts. The volunteers who serve every week throughout the year are given the option of taking the summer off; therefore we need to replace them. If interested, please contact Jenni Maples @ 756-3300 ext 243 or JMaples@BereanMansfield.com as soon as possible to get training and a background check completed.

Attention all parents of children preschool – 5th grade: Pastor Nate has started a monthly newsletter to keep you informed of things going on around the church and in the world today. If you did not receive one through e-mail and would like to be added to his contacts, please e-mail him at PastorN8@BereanMansfield.com. We have extra copies at the check-in booth downstairs for folks without e-mail.

ADVENTURE CLUB SCHEDULE
May 14th - Prize Night
May 21st - Last Day of Adventure Club
May 28th - 1st Day of Summer Wednesdays
Summer Wednesdays are informal, less-structured times for 3 yr olds through 5th grade. We’ll be listening to exciting missionary stories and playing fun games. The nursery remains open all summer for children 2 and under. (To give our every week Wednesday volunteers a break we are looking for help with our Wednesday night child care.)

PARK WORK DAY
Saturday, May 31st
Parents, bring your kids out to Burton Park on Sunset Blvd for a day of sprucing up the park for the community. Clean up will be from 9:00-11:00am. Bring your rakes, leaf blowers, gloves and trash bags.
